Hailing from Norway, progressive black metal 5-piece Enslaved was formed in 1991 by Ivar Bjørnson and Grutle Kjellson, who produced their first demo Yggdrasill in the summer of 1992. Their debut album Vikingligr Veldi came during the spring of 1994, with the likes of later albums including Frost, Eld and Blodhemn constantly surprising fans with more fury and darker edges.

Enslaved started climbing new heights with their live performances, adding strong visual elements in the shape of video art and more.

There most recent album Axioma Ethica Odiniwas marks the band’s second collaboration with Norway's finest label Indie Recordings. It follows on from 2008’s Vertebrae, which upon release spread across the globe like wildfire thanks to extensive touring, Enslaved up to being one of the genre’s most notorious rockers.
